SVD-110 Toolrest

     has anyone made a SVD-110 Toolrest   so that a mitre gauge can be use as i have larger skew chisels, and can not hold them at the right angle and move across stone help needed

Why not use the SVS-50 jig, which is purpose built to sharpen skews?

my skew chisel is to large to fit svs-50 jig

I see. Then I might suggest a small piece of plywood, about the size of the SVD-110, with a 1/2" square piece of stock attached to the back so that it will hang on the SVD-110, and then a piece attached to the top at the proper skew angle. Make two, one for each side.
