Is anyone else having issues with their FVB app from knifegrinders not loading?  Mine has worked for a year before this week.

I just tried it on my Chromebook... and it keeps crashing.



He recently did an update... might have broke something.  May want to contact him directly.

I had the same issue after the most recent update. Finally I had to reinstall it, but then the code was no longer valid.  I wrote an email to Vadim and he responded immediately and sent a new code.

Reinstalling didn't work.  But I went into settings and cleared the cache and the user data... and the app will now load.  It does require the new PIN code that he changed.  (Never understood the need for a PIN code...).

Good thing there are other options available!

Thanks for the help.  I had emailed Vadim and gotten a new PIN and reloaded the app before I had posted here for help.  What actually worked was clearing the cache and data (something I would not have thought of).  Again, thank you and stay sharp

Glad you got it working.

For those who can't get it to work, or want an alternative, I put together a calculator you can use in Google Sheets.  You can find it here...

... it's actually an Excel sheet (I can't find a way to save it as a Google Sheet), but it was created in Google Sheets and should import directly.  (No instructions, you have to know how this works).

It's very sad and feel sorry for wootz and his family.

I'm in a bit of a strange limbo, I ordered the FVB from knifegrinders early january. I have recieved it, but I never got any information regarding download information of the software or a Pin-code for the Android version. Is it possible for someone to share? I don't feel like contacting his family asking for anything.
