In the event of warranty issues – please contact the Tormek importer in your country. In many cases the problem can be solved over the phone or by sending a spare part. Do not return the machine without an agreement with the Tormek importer. 

It depends on the machine model. If you have a newer machine, it is easiest to check on the short side on the outside of the package box, just beneath the EAN code. The serial number is also placed on the machine, see below. 

Tormek T-8: The serial number is located underneath the machine.
Tormek T-7: The serial number is located inside the machine beside the cable.
Tormek T-4: The serial number is located underneath the machine.
Tormek T-3: The serial number is located underneath the machine)
Tormek 2000: The serial number is located inside the machine beside the cable.
Tormek 1200: The serial number is located underneath the machine.

Earlier models: Models made between 1973 and 2001 do not have a serial number.  

The Tormek warranty is valid together with the purchase receipt and covers all parts of your Tormek machine against material and/or manufacturing defects. The warranty guarantees the function of your machine but does not cover normal wear and tear, incorrect use or neglect. The warranty does not include freight costs. The serial number should always be specified in case of a warranty claim.

Yes, there is a 2-year warranty on jigs and accessories.

Basically to ensure performance and that you will get the most out of your system. Electrical standards vary depending on country. By buying from a trusted local dealer you will get the right electrical plug to fit your connection. Using a machine under the wrong current conditions will break your warranty. Remember also that it is always the reseller who is your contact regarding warranty questions. Also, if problems should occur, you need to ship your machine back to the country from which you bought it. Last but not least, the enclosed Tormek Handbook, safety instructions and DVD might not be in your preferred language.

Tormek T-4 has an 8-year warranty, 5 years + 3 years, upon registration at tormek.com. When used for commercial, industrial or educational purpose the T-4 warranty is 2 years.
