Visit Tormek This Summer!

As part of Tormek's 50th anniversary celebrations, we will open our doors to the public in the summer of 2023, starting June 2. At the Sharp Makers 2023 exhibition, you can get up close and personal with artisinal crafts from all over the world, all created using Tormek-sharp tools. For the history-nerd (or Tormek-nerd), we have built a small museum where you get a deeper insight into the company's journey from 1973 to today. And why not check out our little concept store while you're here? Tormek products, merch and sometimes even a find or two.

Sharp Makers 2023 Exhibition

This art exhibition is a celebration of sharp edges. But most of all it's a celebration of the skilled creators on the other side of these sharp tools. They are artisans and master craftspeople of various mediums from all over the world. Tormek - A Sharp Story Museum

Celebrating 50 years is a big deal to us. So we want to take this chance to share our story. In our little museum Tormek - A Sharp Story, you get a deeper insight into the company's journey from 1973 to today. It features photographs and accounts of the very first years of Tormek. You'll get to know our founder Torgny Jansson and his famliy, who were all involved in the company.

There will also be an entire wall dedicated to our machines and their development and another wall showcasing some of the Tormek Innovations. As if that's not enough, you will be able to step into what is probably the first Sharpness Shower in the world, where you get an audiovisual experience of sharpness, up close and personal.

Tormek - A Sharp Story will be a permanent museum.
